Professional experience:
  • Employed at the Freeport of Ventspils Authority since 2001: initially, as a marketing specialist, then, since 2003, as the head of the Marketing and Development Division, and since 2014, as deputy chairman and head of the Marketing and Development Division;
  • Since 2005, board member of the Ventspils High Technology Park;
  • Since 2020, member of the Advisory Council for the Ventspils University of Applied Sciences;
  • Since 2022, member of the Economy and Budget Board of Ventspils City Council
  • In 2012ā€“2021, member of the supervisory council of the Business, Innovation and Regional Development Centre at the Ventspils University of Applied Sciences;
  • In 2019, member of the work group in charge of developing the ā€˜Competitiveness and financial well-being of companiesā€™ priority of the Cross-Sectoral Coordination Centre National Development Plan for 2021ā€“2027.
  • In 2016ā€“2019, member of the Advisory Council for the Ventspils Vocational Technical School;
  • In 2014ā€“2016, member of the Kurzeme Regional Council of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry;
  • In 2009ā€“2014, chairman of the Aid Allocation Board at SIA ā€˜Kurzemes Biznesa inkubatorsā€™.
