Acquiring Foreign Markets – External Marketing

Ventspils Free Port together with partners at the national level represents Latvia in international exhibitions and conferences, and other key transport industry events, meeting with the shipping lines, terminal operators and other potential cooperation partners.

Ventspils Freeport Authority in cooperation with the Latvian Maritime Administration and the Latvian Investment and Development Agency regularly participates in the European Regional Development Fund co-financed projects:

- Freeport of Ventspils participation in exhibitions Transit Kazahstan 2013 and CILF 2013;

- Partnership among the Latvian Maritime Administration, Liepāja Special Economic Zone and Freeport of Ventspils Authority for participation in Transport Logistic 2013, Transports un Loģistika 2013 and Trans Uzbekistan 2013;

- Partnership among Latvian Maritime Administration, Liepāja Special Economic Zone and Freeport of Ventspils Authority for participation in Inter Transport 2013 and TransCaspian 2013;

- Partnership among Latvian Maritime Administration, Liepāja Special Economic Zone and Freeport of Ventspils Authority for participation in exhibit Logitrans 2013;

- Partnership among Latvian Maritime Administration, Liepāja Special Economic Zone and Freeport of Ventspils Authority for participation in international transport exhibits Transports un Loģistika 2012 and Logitrans 2012.
