Pleasure boat ‘’Hercogs Jēkabs”
One of the city’s most popular tourism and leisure attractions is the pleasure boat Hercogs Jēkabs of the Freeport of Ventspils. During the trip you have the chance to see the estuary of the river Venta, the old city, the industrial area of Ventspils Freeport and the sea gate.
The 2024 season will start on 11 May.

Ticketing and conditions:
Payment for the excursion must be made before the trip. Tickets can be purchased from 9:00 at the ticket office at the intersection of Tirgus and Ostas streets. Payment can be made in cash or by card.
In case a group has been invoiced, proof of payment must be presented at the ticket office before the trip.
Children under 10 years of age are only allowed on board the boat if accompanied by an adult.
Organized trips can be booked outside of scheduled services. The cost of one group-booked trip is 300 euros.
