Competence of Legal Department:

• Regulatory compliance monitoring in accordance with laws, regulations and decisions of the Republic of Latvia in the Freeport of Ventspils operations;
• Development of internal normative regulations and legal documents for the Freeport of Ventspils Authority;
• Preparation of the necessary permits for doing business in the Freeport of Ventspils free economic zone;
• Maintenance of the register and issue of licenses to commercial companies at the territory of the Freeport of Ventspils in compliance with regulation For the right to apply direct tax relief and the special procedures of state social insurance payments at the Freeport of Ventspils.
