During the period from 16 to 18 November, the Freeport of Ventspils, as well as other representatives of Latvian transit and logistics participate in an international fair "LogitransTurkey 2022" in Istanbul, Turkey.
The fair shows great activity and huge interest not only in the use of the services offered by Latvian ports, but also in the preferences offered by the special economic zones.
Taking into account the changes to the chains of logistics caused by the geopolitical situation, the role of Turkey in the development of new transport corridors grows rapidly. This year, “LogitransTurkey 2022” brings together record numbers of participants both from Europe and Central Asia.
Entrepreneurs of the Freeport of Ventspils are ready to adjust flexibly to the new trends and prepared for the challenges by aligning with the new transport chains with the unique range of services available in Ventspils and the experience in handling cargoes of all kinds accumulated for decades. Besides the employees of the Freeport of Ventspils Authority, representatives of “VK Terminal Services” work actively also in Istanbul.
