Among the laureates of the Export and Innovation Award in 2023, the company “MALMAR SHEET METAL” SIA, operating in the industrial zone of the Ventspils Freeport, received the award in the “Leader in Export Growth” category in the “Smart Energy and Mobility” sector.
The “Export and Innovation Award 2023” competition is the highest state award in entrepreneurship, organized by The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Economics, the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB), the financial institution “Altum” and the Latvian Exporters’ Association “The Red Jackets”.
Co., Ltd. “HAWITA BALTIC”, Co., Ltd. “MALMAR SHEET METAL” Co., Ltd. “LEAX RĒZEKNE” were nominated in the “Smart Energy and Mobility” group of companies whose number of employees ranges from 10 to 249 in the category “Leader in Export Growth” of the competition “Export and Innovation Award 2023”. This year’s winner is Co., Ltd. “MALMAR SHEET METAL”, which is located in the industrial zone of the Freeport of Ventspils.
Malmar sheet metal is a metallurgical and assembly subsidiary of Malmar Group BV, which manufactures various parts in Ventspils and specializes in the manufacture of chassis parts for trucks and buses for brands such as Scania, Volvo, Caterpillar, Komatsu, and various machine parts for Cargotec and Atlas Copco.
