Cargo turnover of Freeport of Ventspils in 2013 was 28,8 million tons

In December, 2013 2,5 million tons of cargo were handled in
Freeport of Ventspils. It turned total cargo turnover to 28.8
million tons, that is more than Freeport Authority has planned
before.

A division of Financial Times FDI Intelligence has come out with
second global ranking of free economic zones 2012./2013. Freeport
of Ventspils has got the 7th place in the top of global free zones
of the future and ranked as 2nd best port zone.
